CCQS will no longer issue ‘Confirmation Statement Documents’ to confirm our certification contract status with clients within the scope of PPE Regulation.

During the past few weeks, we have noticed a significant number of cases where the document had been misused as stating that a CE certificate had been issued or that the product met the requirements. We feel that such deliberate actions by certain manufacturers has put our Notified Body’s position at risk. Hence we have decided to withdraw all ‘Confirmation Statement’ documents that have previously been issued. CCQS will only respond to verification enquiries of EU Type Examination Certificates(and Module C2 or D certificate if applicable) in the future. 

We may take legal action against manufacturers who are found to continue to misuse the confirmation statement.
